About the Circle

Worthing Business Circle has been established in the town now for over 6 years, and operates on the principal of one member per category of business. Furthermore, it’s run by its members, for its members and the modest monthly fee paid by standing order (including the cost of breakfast) reflects that.

Managed by a committee which meets every fourth week to discuss key issues such as membership, finances and new ideas to enhance our effectiveness, these are then discussed with the membership.

Worthing Business Circle meets every Wednesday at Hill Barn Golf Club, Worthing. There is open networking from 7am to approx 7.30am, with tea/coffee and then breakfast is served.
The main part of the meeting consists of: 

• Welcome and announcements from our Chairman, 

• One minute profiles from each member, 

• 15 minute presentation each week by different businesses from within the Circle, although every fourth week this is replaced by one-to-one business discussions so that our members gradually understand in greater detail the issues and challenges facing each other.

• Any other business 

The meeting officially finishes by 8.45 am
Each quarter, we replace a breakfast meeting with a social event. We also recently held a Reunion Event which saw 40 current and past members sit down for a most enjoyable and productive breakfast meeting.
